Aldo Bassi Quartet

Italian version

Aldo Bassi, trumpet
Alessandro Bravo, piano
Stefano Nunzi, bass
Alessandro Marzi, drums

The quartet presents a repertoire of original songs that stylistically approach both the Europe and the American jazz, trying to follow the transformation that jazz music has been going through in recent years.
The compositions are mostly made of odd meters and polyrhythm, while harmonies and melodies are familiar with classical music. Improvisation is an important element that completes the sound of the group.
